One of the lovely winter/spring flowering Manuka varieties. Keatleyii is an erect growing but bushy, dark foliaged shrub with single, two-toned pink flowers that creates a splash of colour in the back of a garden. Grows to a height of 2m x 1.5m.
Great for attracting bees and to provide last winter and early spring colour at a time when the garden needs a lift. Leptospermums grow well in New Zealand conditions which other plants may struggle coping well with clay soils, frost, coastal conditions and other extremes.
Grows best in full sun and will tolerate dry conditions once established. Hardy to frost and poor soils. Apart from an annual trim after flowering to keep bushy and compact, Manuka are an easy plant to grow and maintain.
