A popular, vigorous ground cover with beautiful bronze new foliage. Large, reddish-purple toothbrush flowers cover this evergreen in profusion during the warmer months, attracting birds to the garden. Will grow approximately 30cm high by 4m wide.

Prefers a position with full sun but will tolerate some shade. Happiest in free draining soil that does not dry out excessively in summer and is rich in organic matter. Generally quite hardy. Easy to grow and suitable for all areas. Frost tolerant and suitable for coastal conditions. Prune after flowering to maintain it’s compact growth.
