Camellia japonica ‘Ecclefield’

Large, pure white, anemone flower with golden central stamens. Contrasts beautifully against the dark, glossy, evergreen foliage. Mid-late season flowering from mid-winter through to mid-spring. Dense, upright shrub growing approximately 2.5m high x 2m wide.  Ideal for screens, hedging, large containers and espalier.

Provide a sunny or partly shaded position in well drained, slightly acidic soil. Mix soil through with organic matter for best results. Protect from strong winds. Keep moist in especially hot, dry weather and mulch to keep roots cool. Can be lightly trimmed in spring.
