This is a medium sized shrub. Grows approximately 2 x 2m. Masses of mauve-pink bottlebrush flowers coat the plant in spring and summer. Bird attracting and excellent for cut flower displays.

It is a hardy plant tolerant of a wide range of conditions. It is adaptable to a wide range of soils and climates and may be pruned severely if necessary. Will perform best in soils with reasonable drainage and regular availability of water. Callistemons respond well to annual fertilising after flowering.
