Early-maturing, clingstone peach very similar to Golden Queen, but ripening 6 weeks earlier. Harvest December-January. Very large, golden fruit in excellent numbers. Ideal for bottling. Self fertile. Grows approximately 5m high x 4m wide in 10 years.
Sunny, sheltered position in fertile, well drained soil. Best suited to areas with high winter chill. Tolerates light frosts. Protect from spring frosts while fresh buds are emerging. Water deeply during dry periods and fruit formation.
