Pieris japonica ‘Mountain Fire’ (Lily of the Valley Shrub)

A compact, evergreen shrub carrying impressive racemes of large, fragrant, ivory-white, bell-shaped flowers in spring. New shoots are fiery-crimson, maturing to a glossy, deep green. Wonderful shrub to plant under deciduous trees or against a wall. Works well as a border, specimen, or container plant. Grows approximately 1.5 x 1.5m.

Grows best in a well drained, acidic soil. Part shade. Frost hardy.
