The last week has been super busy as we’ve been dropping off starter kits to our 16 local Whanganui Schools for the 2022 School Vege Challenge. We could only fit starter kits for half of the schools in the van, so we did this twice over a few days!

Along with our key partner and sponsor, NZME (Whanganui Chronicle), we would like to thank our generous supporters, Tui, Yates, Zealandia, Ican and Eastown Timber, who have provided each school with a great range of supplies to get their gardens started for the year.

We are delighted with the number of schools participating and the enthusiasm for growing things that they all have. The Challenge has begun, it’s time to get growing!
