Sweet Peas are a traditional garden favourite producing sweetly perfumed flowers on long stems. Blue Shift is astonishing. It produces a display of colour-changing blooms, opening light mauve but ageing to a range of turquoise and ultramarine shades. Plants will require support to allow them to climb.

• Uses: Excellent for picking and garden displays. Grow on trellis or arches.
