Climbing Rose – Kaimai Sunset
A climbing rose featuring rustic copper flower buds that open to unique, velvety, terracotta-shaded blooms. In the cooler spring and autumn periods more of the dark copper colour is present. Vigorous bloomer with masses of flowers, well complemented against the abundant, dark, glossy foliage. Has a lax growth habit, making it easy to train on a fence or wall. Grows approximately 3 – 3.5m.
For best results plant in a sunny or lightly shaded, airy position in any well drained soil. Keep well watered in drier weather and avoid wetting foliage excessively as this can encourage disease. Mulching is beneficial. Prune hard in winter.
