Climbing Rose – Phyllis Bide

A rose with very reliable repeat flowering. Produces great clusters of dainty, double blooms, rich yellow brushed with tones of salmon and apricot. Colours fade to a cream brushed pale pink with age. Delightful and relatively thorn-free, with a pleasant, sweet fragrance. Growth is upright and more structured than other rambling roses. Grows approximately 3m tall x 2m wide.

For best results plant in a sunny or lightly shaded, airy position in any well drained soil. Keep well watered in drier weather and avoid wetting foliage excessively as this can encourage disease. Mulching is beneficial. Prune hard in winter.
