Rose Climber – Souvenir de Madame Leonie Viennot
A Bourbon class rose with quite unusual, large, fully double blooms. The flowers emerge a creamy-yellow with a silver-toned reverse, which age out to a lovely mid salmon-pink colour with some yellow toning. This wonderfully fragrant rose flowers on old wood, so care should be taken not to prune heavily. Spreads approximately 5m high x 2.5m wide.
For best results plant in a sunny or lightly shaded, airy position in any well drained soil. Keep well watered in drier weather and avoid wetting foliage excessively as this can encourage disease. Mulching is beneficial. Prune hard in winter.
