An unusual and hardy, evergreen groundcover with unique, variegated foliage. The green and gold, ovular leaves are the main feature of this form of Californian Lilac. Produces ball-shaped clusters of tiny, pale blue flowers in spring. Grows approximately 40cm high with a spread of 1.5m wide.

Full sun or partly shaded position in well drained, loamy or sandy soils. Tolerant of drought, coastal conditions, and mild frost.
