‘Julie Marguerite’ has large sprays of soft, delicate pink, floribunda blooms ageing lighter and opening to expose stamens full of pollen that the bees adore. It has is relatively compact with a slightly spreading habit, growing to approximately 1.1m. The foliage is dark and glossy, with good disease resistance, which shows off the abundant blooms to perfection. Julie Marguerite has very pleasing fragrance.
For best results plant in a sunny or lightly shaded, airy position in any well drained soil. Keep well watered in drier weather and avoid wetting foliage excessively as this can encourage disease. Mulching is beneficial. Fertilise late winter through summer. Prune hard in winter.
