Rhododendron ‘Horizon Monarch’

Large trusses of red buds which open to a warm yellow bloom with coral-apricot tones and a faint, red flare in the throat. Flowers in October. Grows approximately 2m high x 1.5m wide.

A sunny position with part shade is ideal. Plant in well drained, moist, acidic soil. Keep well watered through hot, dry periods. Mulching is beneficial. Fertilise with acid food spring through autumn.
