An erect, bushy shrub with medium sized, pink flowers that mature to green with a prominent black beard. 2-3m tall.
An adaptable protea that will grow in most well draining, acidic soils in an open, sunny position. Suitable for coastal conditions and drought-tolerant once established. Intolerant to heavy frosts. Ensure newly planted plants receive deep watering once a week during periods of prolonged drought. Prune well in late spring to encourage flower production the following year.
