Old English plum. Produces heavy crops of oval-shaped fruit with red-purple skin and yellow flesh. An excellent fresh eating or cooking variety with divine flavour. Cooks down to a distinctive pink-orange puree, perfect for jam and crumbles or pie filling. Self fertile. Grows in a fan shape to approximately 4m high x 3m wide.

Full sun position with well drained soil. Frost hardy. Protect from wind to promote a better yield. Fertilise in spring and summer. Benefits from mulch.
