Classic hedging plant! The new shoots are deep crimson-red for long periods in spring. Mature leaves are dark glossy green. Produces dense clusters of small, white flowers in Spring. Excellent as a trimmed hedge, and can be kept in any desired shape. New flushes of colour after pruning. Grows approximately 2.5m high x 1.5m wide. Plant one per metre for hedging.
Grows best in full sun in well drained soils. Frost hardy. Coastal and drought tolerant.
