Prunus persica – Nectarine ‘Red Gold’
Beautiful, large, dark red and gold skinned nectarines with a vibrant and sweet flavour. Deep yellow flesh which is competitively delicious and easily freestone. Reliable, late-season producer for harvest in February. Self-fertile. Deep pink blossoms in spring. Grows approximately 5m high x 3m wide.
Sunny, sheltered position in fertile, well drained soil. Tolerates light frosts. Protect from spring frosts while fresh buds are emerging. Water deeply during dry periods and fruit formation.
