Small, spreading shrub which will climb available rough surfaces such as brick walls or ponga logs. Masses of brilliant crimson flowers through spring. Great in rock gardens as a sprawling groundcover, or as in a pendulous shrub in a pot. Can grow approximately 50cm high x 100cm wide

Full sun to part shade. Very tough and hardy. Tolerant of most soil conditions. Hardy to light frosts and tolerant of coastal conditions. Tender when young.
