Native to New Zealand, this elegant plant has blueish-green, reed-like foliage with regular brownish joints running up the stems. It spreads from a creeping rhizome and grows up to 1m tall. Ideal for wetlands and coastal areas. Can be grown in pots.
Full sun position. Prefers a damp, swampy position or can be grown fully in water. Tolerant of drought once established. Frost hardy and great in coastal conditions.
