Heavy producer of medium-sized, bell-shaped, green/yellow skinned fruit. Deep red flesh which is rich and sugary. Harvest in April when the ripest fruit starts to fall or the birds start to eat. Can be eaten fresh, created into savoury or sweet dishes. Ideal for drying and preserving. Figs are one of the healthiest fruits in the world. Self fertile.

Full sun. Plant in warm, well-drained soil rich in organic matter. Figs require plenty of moisture during the growing season to enhance sweet, juicy fruit. Prune annually in late winter to maintain desired shape and size. Fertilise in spring. Frost tolerant.
