Escallonia laevis ‘Gold Brian’
New spring foliage is a soft lime green that gradually changes to tones of warm gold. The flowers which appear in summer are a bright rose pink. Ideal for use as a specimen shrub, container plant and just great as a hedge. Grows approximately 1.5 x 1.5m. Plant one per metre for hedging.
Full sun to part shade. Hardy and tolerant but performs best with protection from the afternoon sun. Well drained soil. Drought tolerant. Clip annually.
