Coprosma repens ‘Ignite’ (Mirror Bush)

Bred in New Zealand, Coprosma ‘Ignite’ is famed for it’s intense foliage colour and deep red, glossy appearance. Over the winter months, foliage tones change to a purple palette, adding further interest. Excellent for general garden planting, small hedges and group planting. Also ideal as a container plant. Grows approximately 1.5 x 1.5m.

Prefers a full sun position but will tolerate partial shade. Suitable for most soil types as long as they’re well drained. Easy to grow and suitable for coastal planting. Will not tolerate severe frost or poor drainage. Benefits from a regular trim to encourage lush new growth and compact habit. Prune to desired shape. An annual dressing of slow release fertiliser will ensure colour intensity.
