Coprosma kirkii ‘Goldstream’ (Taupata)

Fast growing, native ground-cover with golden stems and lime green leaves. It forms a dense mat, great for suppressing weeds. Fantastic for growing on banks, retaining walls, clay areas, dry environments etc. Grows approximately 50cm high x 1.5m wide.

Prefers a full sun position but will tolerate partial shade. Suitable for most soil types as long as they’re well drained. Easy to grow and suitable for coastal planting. Will not tolerate severe frost or poor drainage. Benefits from a regular trim to encourage lush new growth and compact habit. Prune to desired shape. An annual dressing of slow release fertiliser will ensure colour intensity.
