Large, double, peony-form blooms of dark, deep crimson-red. Flowers from early through to late winter, a remarkable pop of colour for the cold months. Dark green foliage on an upright, evergreen shrub. Grows approximately 3m high x 2m wide. Ideal for screens, hedging, large containers and espalier.
Provide a sunny or partly shaded position in well drained, slightly acidic soil. Mix soil through with organic matter for best results. Protect from strong winds. Keep moist in especially hot, dry weather and mulch to keep roots cool. Can be lightly trimmed in spring.
