A select, low growing form of the Bull Banksia. It has a low, wide spreading growth habit. A mature plant will produce many large, creamy yellow flower heads which are borne terminally in late spring – summer. A striking shrub for a shrub border or in larger rockeries. Excellent coastal plant. An ideal source of food for nectar loving birds. Grows to a height of 1.5m with a spread of 2.5m.
Plant in an open, sunny position in free draining, acidic soil. It is drought tolerant once established. Mild frost tolerance. Suitable for coastal conditions. Some selective pruning and shaping can be done after the flowering period.
