Agathis australis – Kauri

Although the Kauri eventually grows to an immense height, slow growth and pyramidal shape makes it a suitable specimen for the larger garden. Ultimately grows 30-60m tall, however only grows approximately 6m high x 3m wide in 10 years. Has bronze foliage while young, which matures out to a nice green.

Plant in sun or shade. Thrives in moist, well drained soils. Tolerant of clay soils. Protect from frosts and wind while young.
