A select form of the King Protea from the Tsitsikamma region in South Africa. It is an erect, evergreen shrub growing to 2m in size. Produces large, pink, terminal flower heads on long, slender stems from late autumn to spring, with the peak flowering period being in spring.

Likes an open, sunny position in acidic, light, free draining soil. Pruning back well after spring flowering to desired shape and size to enhance flowering the following year. Can tolerate moderate frosts once established.  Ensure newly planted plants receive deep weekly waterings through first summer and periods of prolonged drought. Suitable for coastal conditions.
