Spectacular indoor plants with large, heart-shaped leaves and striking flower spathes in shades of red. In cooler areas anthuriums must be grown in a warm, well lit position indoors. Keep moist in the growing season and drier in winter. Plants need freely draining potting mix and should not be over-watered. Slow release fertiliser in spring will maintain healthy growth.
