“We would love to oversee establishing gardens at Aranui School. A group of our students would love to join in the mahi to ensure our gardens will be a success. They will gain valuable knowledge that they can use in the future and share with their families.”

Aranui, like many schools, suffered a high level of sickness form COVID. Unfortunately, the initial garden was not able to be attended.

Getting Going

We loved participating in the School Vege Challenge in 2021 and the children have asked to do it again this year. They loved the learning and opportunity. When our starter kit was dropped off they had plenty to say:

“We have our leaders here to go back and ask their classes for help with the gardens.”

“In gardens there are lots of bugs.”

“Everyone wanted to do it after last years.”
