School Gardening Partnership 2025
“We are teachers and students learning that we can grow what we eat to save some money, about caring for plants, from seeds to table. “
Kelly Ross – Arahunga School Partnership Coordinator
November Update

The students at Arahunga School have put some focus into growing sun-loving flowers and hope to build on a bee-friendly garden. They’ve had success germinating sunflower seeds, which will be nice to watch develop into full plants.
For their vegetable gardens, they’ve planted potatoes, pumpkins, onions, and leeks.
