Large, 40cm long racemes of densely packed, sweetly scented, mauve-pink flowers which fade to white. Flowering in early spring, as the new growth begins to emerge. A most vigorous and beautiful, deciduous climber. Leaves turn a dark green then a lovely clear yellow in Autumn. Excellent climber for pergolas or walls. Grows approximately 10m high x 3m wide in 10 years.
Sunny, well drained position. Frost hardy. Prune after flowering and in the winter if necessary.
