Tupidanthus calyptratus – Umbrella Tree

A striking, fast growing umbrella tree with palmate clusters of large, glossy, deep green leaves.

Grows best in bright, indirect light. Morning or late evening sun can be suitable, but the leaves will burn under the hot afternoon sunlight. Plant into well draining potting mix and water when soil is dry. Do not allow pot to sit in a saucer of water. Fertilise every 2 weeks during spring and summer with a liquid fertiliser.
