A rounded, deciduous shrub bearing dense, flat heads of bright crimson flowers during summer. The toothed, ovular foliage emerges reddish-purple in spring, turns bright blue-green in summer, and takes on red tones again in autumn. Ideal for use in rockeries and borders. Grows approximately 1m high x 1.2m wide.
Prefers a sunny to party shaded position in moist, well-drained soil. Prune after flowering to maintain compact shape. Tolerates frost. Low water requirements.
