A compact, sturdy variety that produces a heavy crop of delicate nutty-flavoured beans. Blanched broad beans make an amazing hearty addition to hot dishes – delightful in omelettes, risotto, or tossed with baby potatoes. Young pods can be sliced, steamed and eaten as a green vegetable. A great match with bacon, or fresh mint.
