Scabiosa atropurpurea ‘Vivid Violet’ (Pincushion Flower)

An improved form of the popular pincusion plant which features much larger, bright violet blooms carried throughout the warmer months. ‘Vivid Violet’ is resistant to autumn onset of powdery mildew. A wonderful, easy care perennial, perfect to add a splash of colour to the garden or pots. Grows approximately 20cm high x 30cm wide.

Prefers full sun. Frost hardy. Deadhead regularly to encourage repeat flowering. Use slug bait in spring and give an annual dressing of fertiliser.
