Climbing Rose – Fourth of July
Large, open flowers of yellowish-cream, streaked and splashed with vivid red, with bright gold stamens. Blooms in flushes from spring to autumn. Lightly fragrant. Very disease resistant with glossy, dark foliage. A vigorous climber which can grow up to 4m in height and 2m in spread. This rose can also be trimmed and maintained as a shrub.
For best results plant in a sunny or lightly shaded, airy position in any well drained soil. Keep well watered in drier weather and avoid wetting foliage excessively as this can encourage disease. Mulching is beneficial. Prune hard in winter.
