A famous, old rambling rose producing abundant clusters of fully double, cup-shaped, light coppery-pink blooms. Strong, rich fruity fragrance. ‘Albertine’ flowers primarily on old wood so a light pruning can be done in winter, but it is recommended to allow to grow over a large area. Spreads up to about 4m.

For best results plant in a sunny or lightly shaded, airy position in any well drained soil. Keep well watered in drier weather and avoid wetting foliage excessively as this can encourage disease. Mulching is beneficial. Pruning can be done in winter.
