Bush Rose – Charles Darwin
David Austin – English rose. Strong yellow colour with some deep gold tones. Large, very full, rounded blooms which open further to shallow cup-like form. Heavily fragrant with a strong, lemon-tea scent. Very healthy, vigorous, slightly spreading bush growing approximately 1.4m high x 1m wide.
For best results plant in a sunny or lightly shaded, airy position in any well drained soil. Keep well watered in drier weather and avoid wetting foliage excessively as this can encourage disease. Mulching is beneficial. Fertilise late winter through summer. Prune hard in winter.
