Drop-dead gorgeous flowers of deep, waxy red decorate the glossy, deep green foliage from late winter-early spring. Vigorous and easy to grow in dappled light. A must have for anyone who likes Rhododendrons. Evergreen. Grows to approximately 4m high in 10 years. Can be pruned to size.

A sunny position with part shade is ideal. Plant in well drained, moist, acidic soil. Keep well watered through hot, dry periods. Mulching is beneficial. Fertilise with acid food spring through autumn.
