Lovely frilly-edged flowers emerge from bright red buds, and have a soft yellow throat with red spots and pink-red edging. Ball-shaped truss of about 20 flowers. Very free flowering. Early to mid season. 1.3m.

A sunny position with part shade is ideal. Plant in well drained, moist, acidic soil. Keep well watered through hot, dry periods. Mulching is beneficial. Fertilise with acid food spring through autumn.
