Cascading, purple/black canes with no spines. Small, firm, rosette of berries turning a rich black. Sweet, delicate flavour. Mouth-watering fresh berries. Harvest from December to February when fruit is in full colour. Self-fertile.

Plant in rich, well drained, slightly acidic soil, high in organic matter. Provide a full sun position. Plant up against a fence or where support can be given. Mulch after planting to support a healthy root system. Fertilise in spring. Frost tolerant.
