Weeping Pear

An elegant small tree with silvery-white, willow-like leaves on gracefully weeping branches. becoming grey-green in summer. Deciduous; losing it’s leaves in winter. The flowers which appear in spring are a creamy white shade. Slender, weeping stems with silver-grey bark. Grows approximately 5m high x 3m wide in 10 years.

Quite tolerant and hardy even of atmospheric pollution. Tolerant of most soil types but performs best in full sun with well draining soil. Responds well to pruning. Withstands strong winds and drought conditions.
