Houpara. Handsome foliage tree. A dense, bushy, compact grower with glossy, purple, palmate leaves, deepening in colour in winter. The older leaves are dark-green. Excellent tub plant. Excellent as a filler or a dense screen. Grows approximately 3 x 3m. Can be pruned to any size.

Moderately tender. Full sun to part shade in well drained soils. Prefers a dry position and is coastal hardy.
