Delightful rounded, neat-headed tree with spreading branches. Attractive, bronze growth maturing to a deep green. Great shade tree for a smaller garden. Clusters of soft-pink, single flowers hang from the branches from late-winter to early-spring. Blossoms are full of nectar to the delight of birds. Excellent street tree. A sterile cultivar. Yellow, orange, and red autumn leaves. Grows approximately 5m high x 4m wide in 10 years.

Plant in full sun. Flowering Cherries are generally hardy but should be planted in a sheltered site to prolong the flowering period. Protect from strong winds. Don’t allow them to dry out during hot dry periods. Stake well until established.
