A hybrid Protea with medium-large, red flowers with a frosted beard. Has a tidy growth habit and is very free flowering. Peak flowering season is over winter. Grows approximately 1.5 x 1.5m.

It is suited to open, sunny situations in a free draining soil. Performs best in poor, acidic soil. Drought tolerant and suitable for coastal conditions. Frost hardy once established,  protect young plants. Prune to shape after flowering has finished or in mid-spring to enhance flowering the next year. Avoid phosphate fertilisers.
