A colourful hybrid producing many mid-sized flowers over a long period from Autumn to early Spring. Flowers have a silvery bract with a deep maroon centre. Grows approximately 1.5 x 1.5m.
It is suited to open, sunny situations in a free draining soil. Performs best in poor, acidic soil. Drought tolerant and suitable for coastal conditions. Frost hardy once established, protect young plants. Prune to shape after flowering has finished or in mid-spring to enhance flowering the next year. Avoid phosphate fertilisers.
