Excellent, all-purpose plum. Eats well but great also for bottling and preserves. Fruit is of medium size, with purple-black skin and dark red, sweet, juicy flesh. Freestone. Mid season – harvest February. Vigorous, upright tree. Grows approximately 5m high x 3m wide.

Full sun position with well drained soil. Frost hardy. Protect from wind to promote a better yield. Fertilise in spring and summer. Benefits from mulch.
