A hardy, attractive, quick-growing, broadly conical to pyramidal spruce. Blue-green needles with golden-brown cones. Popular as a Christmas tree. An excellent alpine tree. Hardy. Evergreen. Grows approximately 8m high x 4m wide in 10 years.

Full sun to partial shade. Tolerates most soil type and hardy to coastal climates. Prefers a moist soil and handles consistent wet conditions.
