Phormium cookianum ‘Dark Delight’

A beautiful, medium-sized flax with vivid, purplish-red, upright foliage. Imagine the effect of a large drift of these swaying in the breeze. Quite stunning planted en masse. Flower stems will appear in summer and will attract birds to your garden. Grows approximately 80cm high x 1m wide.

Best planted in full sun or part shade. Tolerant of most soil types and conditions. Wind and frost tolerant. A very hardy plant requiring very little care. Apply mulch in summer to keep root system moist. Remove finished flower stems at the end of summer.
